How to use it

Questions people actually ask

Will this fill my face back out?
No. Facial volume is fat and structure — a topical serum can't put that back, and any brand claiming otherwise is lying. What this does is work on how the surface of your skin looks: texture, tone, the appearance of fine lines.

Will it make me peel?
It can at first — that's retinol. Start 2–3 nights a week, moisturize on top, and build up slowly. If you go straight to nightly you will probably regret it.

Morning or night?
Night, always. And wear sunscreen the next day — that part isn't optional with retinol.

Can I use it with the eye gel?
Yes. Serum on face and neck first, then The Finishing Touch around the orbital bone. Keep retinol out of the eye area itself.

I have sensitive skin. Is this too much?
Patch test on your jaw for a few nights first. Bisabolol is in there specifically to take the edge off, but retinol is still retinol.

Can I use it if I'm pregnant or nursing?
Talk to your doctor first. Retinoids are a standard thing to ask about, and that's a conversation for them, not us.

How long until it does anything?
8–12 weeks of consistent use. Skin turnover is slow and no serum changes that.
